In-kind donation drive for homeless seniors

Located at 18th & Emerson - Denver's only day center for homeless and low income seniors. For the month of July, M.I.A. is collecting various items for a homelessness agency called Senior Support Services.  This location is Denver’s only day shelter for homeless seniors, providing three meals a day, case management and other critical support.  We are collecting everything from men’s clothing, shoes, and toiletries to nonperishable (and not expired) food items and more.  If you have a donation, please contact marc@MusiciansInAction.org for a convenient pickup time.

Senior Support Services is celebrating 40 years of providing a crucial safety net for homeless seniors.  They provide meals, a food and clothing bank, computer and internet access, and transportation.  They also help clients get housing, benefits, rent and utility payments, financial counseling, as well as access to medical care, health screenings, and mental healthcare.  Please watch this video to learn more:

Thanks for your support!
